Selkirk – William D. Myers

William D. Myers, age 74, entered into eternal life Sunday, October 29, 2023.  Born in Cohoes he was the son of the late David and Ellen Wheeler Myers.

Bill loved restoring classic British cars and enjoyed boating and fishing.  Bill additionally loved Cape Cod and frequent vacations with his family.  He was a US Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran and a US Army Veteran.  Early in Bill's career, he was a Biology and A& P instructor, then a Principal at St John the Evangelist School. Following, for 25 years, Bill worked as a NYS Parole Officer, Senior and Bureau Chief, before retiring in June of 2022.

Beloved husband of Donna Gosstola Myers; loving father of Zachary Myers (Jennifer) and Morgan Mulvey (Cameron).  He is also survived by his brother James Myers (Jerianne) and his cherished dog Cinnamon.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 3, 2023 at 10:30am in the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave. Delmar.  The family will receive visitors Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00pm in the funeral home.  Interment will be in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
