Stanley Lacy

ALBANY - Stanley Force Lacy of Albany, 71, passed away January 13, 2014 after a brief illness. Stanley was born and raised in Albany. After attending Schuyler High school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving honorably in the U.S. and Panama. He then held various jobs in Albany and Maryland. Survivors include his sons, Stanley Force Lacy Jr., and Jimmy Gibbs of Albany, sisters Antic Womack (Jimmie) of Schenectady, Elizabeth Claudio of Albany, brothers Talmadge and Reginald Lacy of Albany, Thomas Lacy (Denyce) of Delmar and a host of relatives and friends. A wake will be held on Saturday, January 18 from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service, all at Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar.
