Shirley L. Erhardt

DELMAR - Shirley L. Erhardt, 81, of Delmar, died on Friday, March 11, 2011. She was the beloved wife of 63 years of Richard J. Erhardt, the devoted mother of Richard Erhardt, Jr. and Bruce Erhardt and the loving grandmother of John, Robert, Elizabeth and Peter Erhardt. Survivors also include a sister, Naomi Ruckdeschel and a brother, Harrison Krom. Shirley had two loves in her life - her church and her family. A Memorial Service will be held 5 pm Wednesday at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. The family will receive visitors from 3 to 5 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial in Bethlehem Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Lutheran Health Care Center, 125 Rockefeller Rd., Delmar, NY 12054 or the Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205.
