DELMAR- Ruth B. Rogers, 98 died peacefully on Sunday, March 29, 2015, at her home. Born at Brookside Farm, Worcester, NY, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ann (Harrison) Bull and beloved wife of the late E. Lloyd Rogers. After attending Albany Business College, she worked in the insurance field, first at Travelers Insurance Company, and later with her husband’s independent agency. She was happily married for 65 years and enjoyed many world travels with her husband. Ruth was a kind-hearted, cultured and gracious person who was loved by all who knew her. Ruth is survived by her daughter Carolyn Hartford, and her son-in-law Robert Hartford, of Stow, MA. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son John Graham Rogers. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015, at 12 Noon in the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 11am. Interment will follow the service in Bethlehem Cemetery, Delmar.
