Ralph H. Doyle

DELMAR - We are sad to announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather Ralph H. Doyle on July 30, 2015. Ralph was born on March 25, 1945 in Oneonta NY to June and Henry Doyle. He has lived in Delmar NY for the last forty years. Ralph was a U.S. Army veteran and worked for the Office of the New York State Comptroller for his entire career. In retirement he was an avid gardener and enjoyed traveling, attending antique auctions, collecting antique glassware, and, most of all, spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Judy, daughter Rebecca (Anthony), son David (Kristen), grandsons Nicholas, Oliver, Dylan and Archie. Also survived by sisters Fern Briggs (Lewis), Claudia Marshall, Heidi Clune (Michael), brother Frederick Doyle (Liz) and his nieces and nephews. We extend special thanks to Dr. Susan Weaver and her staff at NYOH for the wonderful care Ralph received over many years. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 2 to 5pm at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. Burial in West Davenport, NY will be private. For those who wish to make a donation in Ralph's memory, we suggest the West Davenport Methodist Church, P.O. Box 100, Davenport, NY 13860, which Ralph attended as a child and supported throughout his life.
