Nancy T. Steele

Nancy T. Steele, age 90, died June 17, 2024. Born December 21, 1933 in Liberty, NY she was the daughter of the late Lee R. Tompkins, MD and Grace E. Myers Tompkins. 

Nancy used to cross the street from her home to attend school from kindergarten through high school. She later was a graduate of Syracuse Universality, class of 55. She met her husband Herb in June of 1952 and they were married on December 22, 1953. They lived a blessed 70 years together. 

She is the beloved wife of Herbert G. Steele; loving mother of John, Leonard and Stephen and sister of Lee R. Tompkins, Jr. and the late Marge Benza. Nancy is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
