Michael T. Sullivan, 64, passed away suddenly at his home Sunday Sept. 12, 2021.

He was a loving husband to Mary Sullivan and devoted and beloved father to Timothy Sullivan and wife Jaclyn, and Michael J Sullivan; and grandfather to Keltyn Sullivan.

Michael was born on August 9, 1957, in Albany, to Arlene Bohl-Cooley and John E. Sullivan.

He was president of M. Sullivan Construction which he started in 1987 and built into a formidable and enduring business through his incredible work ethic and business sense.

Michael’s passion was antique motorcycles of which he developed an impressive collection from a 1929 Harley JD to a 1964 Panhead and all models in between.

In addition to his wife, sons, and granddaughter, Michael is survived by his Mother Arlene Cooley (Albany), sisters Annemarie Lasky (Delmar), and Peggy Boemmel (Glenelg, MD)

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 16 from 4 to 7 pm at Applebee Funeral Home in Delmar. A funeral service will be held Friday, September 17 at 10 am at the funeral home with burial to follow at Onesquethaw Cemetery, Clarksville.  Motorcycles are encouraged for the procession.  A celebration of life gathering will be held at Maple on the Lake (Berne, NY) following the burial service.

In lieu of flowers please direct donations to Town of Johnsburg EMS or Mohawk Hudson Humane Society (Menands, NY).
