Mary Ann Krulcik passed 3/9/2018 at St Peter’s Hospice Inn surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Albany, October 15, 1937 the daughter of the late Howard and Eva (Gregory) Green. Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, James Krulcik; her children, Karen (David) Veltman, Robert (Tracey) Krulcik; grandchildren, Brandon Smith, Kristi Krulcik, Scott Krulcik; her sister and best friend Margaret (Keith) Johanson and her brothers William (Sally) Green, Alexander Green, Robert Green as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Howard Green and her nephew Brian Johanson.
Mary Ann worked very hard to obtain an education graduating from Vincentian Institute High School in 1955. As her children grew older, Mary Ann went back to school at night while still working and eventually earned an AAS in Business Administration from HVCC, a BS in Business, and an MS in Taxation from SUNY Albany.
Mary Ann worked for the Bureau of Public Roads in Albany, NY and the Army Maintenance Board in Fort Knox, KY. She later had a long career as an Auditor for NYS Taxation and Finance in Albany, NY retiring in 1999.
Mary Ann loved spending time with her family. She also loved reading (3 books per week!), roses, and swans. She is probably the only woman we know who loves doing taxes! Mary Ann was also a longtime member of Duplicate Bridge groups, especially at Normanside Country Club.

from 4 to 7 pm at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 am Wednesday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Place, Delmar.
