DELMAR - Marion T. Camp - September 15, 1919 to October 29, 2013. Marion died peacefully at Albany Medical Center Hospital after living an active, full life. She will be missed by all who knew her. She had many close friends and family who loved her. She was known as a caring, giving, and generous woman. Marion was predeceased by her husband, Donald M. Camp and her son, Donald B. Camp. She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Strebel of Rochester, NY and Patricia Owens of Kenduskeag, ME. She is survived by a former daughter-in-law, Sandy Culhane of Fairfield, CT. Marion was very proud of her five grandchildren including Adam Akullian (Tonia) of Barrington, NH, Geoff Strebel (Holly) of Golden, CO, Jackie Pelletier (Laurent) of San Diego, CA, Andrew Gingras (Nittaya) of Dover, NH and Ashley Owens of Kenduskeag, ME. She enjoyed seeing the next generation of great grandchildren in Sawyer, Charlotte and Vivian Strebel, as well as Sophia Pelletier, all of whom visited her within the past year. Marion worked as a teacher's aide for the Delmar Grade School, a sales clerk at Little Folks clothing store and spent 21 years in local Town of Bethlehem government. She was Deputy Town Clerk for 8 years and 13 years as elected Town Clerk. Marion was active in bowling, golf, volunteer work and playing bridge weekly. A private graveside service at Bethlehem Cemetery, Delmar will be held at the convenience of the family.
