Lucia S. Quaglieri

DELMAR- Lucy S. Quaglieri, 88, died suddenly on Monday, October 20, 2014 at her home. Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late Sebastian and Agatina (Garufi) Spadaro and beloved wife of the late Julio E. Quaglieri. Mrs. Quaglieri was a longtime, very active communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Prior to her retirement she worked for the NYS Dept. of Health and Sears Roebuck. Mrs. Quaglieri is survived by her sons; John Quaglieri and his wife Lynne of Arvada, CO and Mark Quaglieri and his wife Judith of Mukwonago, WI; five grandchildren, Matthew, Patrick, Jared and twins Joseph and Stephen and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her five brothers and sisters. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Applebee Funeral Home on Sunday, October 26, 2014 from 2 to 5 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 11am in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Place, Delmar. Entombment will follow the Mass in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Those who wish may make memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Quaglieri to St. Thomas the Apostle Church.
