RAVENA – Laura Warner Rodolakis, 62, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 6, 2016 after a long illness.
Born in Blue Island, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Dr. George M. Warner and Harriet Layne Warner. Laura was a 1971 graduate of RCS High School. She received her Associate in Science degree from Hudson Valley Community College in 1990, graduated Magna Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Albany in 1991 with her Bachelor of Science degree and received her Master of Science degree from Albany in 1992. In 1994, Laura became a certified public accountant. She recently retired from the New York State Office of the Comptroller after a 32 year career. Her duties often took her throughout the state doing training and development with local governments. Laura's hobbies included reading and movies, she loved animals especially cats, and enjoyed swimming and vacationing. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her brother, Kendrick L. Warner of Averill Park; her sister, Harriet O'Neil of Thomaston, Maine; cousins, Cindy and Laura Lee Larrabee; two aunts, and many cousins and dear friends.
