June E. Tompson

June E. Thompson, age 85, passed away Monday, August 17, 2026.  Born, raised and educated in Selkirk June was the daughter of the late, Clifford and Harriet Beck Thompson.  

June enjoyed a quiet life with her dogs, living in her family home.  She was a housekeeper for many years before retiring. 

She is survived by her cousin Elizabeth Smingler.

June's funeral service will be held Friday, August 21, 2026 at 11:30am at Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave. Delmar.  There will be a visitation from 10:30 to 11:30 before the service.  

interment will be in Grove Cemetery in Coeymans.
