Jeffrey E. Voorhees

Glenmont - Jeffrey E. Voorhees, age 72, passed away April 11, 2026. Born in Albany he was the son of the late Henry and Ruth Smith Voorhees.

Known for his high work ethic, Jeff held various jobs throughout his life from owner of the former auto parts store at the four corners in Delmar as well as selling insurance for Prudential Life, and was most recently in charge of maintenance for the Spinney at Van Dyke and Adams Station Apts. In Delmar. He was an auxiliary member of the Delmar VFW Post 8276 and the American Legion Blanchard-Currey Post 1040.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Gail Bradley Voorhees; his children, Robert Voorhees and Katherine Quickenton (Daniel); his grandchildren, Wyatt Voorhees, and Milo, Lucy and Chole Quickenton. He is also survived by his sister, Alison Calvagno.

The family will receive visitors at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave. Delmar on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00pm.
