Jane Dearstyne - Welch

DELMAR: Jane Allison Dearstyne - Welch passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at St. Peters Hospital, Albany, New York. Jane was born on May 28, 1916 in Utica, New York and graduated from Syracuse Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She moved to the Capital District to work at Albany Medical Center and lived in the area for the rest of her life. Jane is survived by her brother Peter Allison; her sons and their wives Frederick and Caroline Dearstyne, and Jeffrey and Louise Dearstyne. Other survivors include her stepchildren, Margaret Welch, Michelle Trela, Edward Welch, Jr. and Marie Tracey. Friends may call at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Avenue, Delmar on Monday, March 12 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at 5:00 PM. Jane was beloved by all who knew her and will be truly missed. May God hold her in the palm of his hand for eternity. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Delmar Place for their wonderful care during the latter part of Jane's life.
