Helen B. DePuccio

Helen B. DePuccio, 88, of Glenmont passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

Born on February 13, 1938, in Glenmont to parents - Leonard and Merle Schammann, brother Philip, she was the beloved wife of 57 years of Armond P. DePuccio, cherished mother to her daughter, Deborah A. DePuccio (Bob Lane) and proud grandmother to Christian.

Helen worked for many years at the NYS Dept. of Motor Vehicles and later the NYS Thruway Authority prior to her retirement. She was a devoted life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Selkirk Fire Department, Station 2 for 66 years; a faithful member of the Glenmont Community Church for over 65 years; and a longtime member of the Bethlehem Grange. Helen loved animals and her compassion extended to the pets who shared her home and who will miss her gentle presence. She loved caring for her flower gardens and was a dedicated volunteer with Bethlehem Senior Services.

Helen’s family will receive visitors on Saturday, Sept. 12 from 11 am to 1 pm at Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave, Delmar with a service being held at 12:30 pm.
