Esther A. Davis

Esther A. Davis, 93, of Delmar passed away Monday, September 8th, 2025 at Shaker Place in Colonie.

Born April 6, 1928 in Troy, NY, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Eleanor (Jones) Powell. Esther was a 70 year member of the First United Methodist Church of Delmar and one of the founding members of its thrift store. She had also been an active member of Home Bureau.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Frank Davis.  Survivors include her children, Weston Davis (Elizabeth), Rebecca Wagenhauser (Peter) and Bruce Davis; sister, Elizabeth Chicaway; grandchildren, Jeffry and Emily Wagenhauser and Wade Davis; great granddaughter, Liliana; and several nieces and nephews.

Private burial be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Worcester, NY.
