It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Clifford F. Wright Jr., a loving father, devoted son, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and cherished friend, who left us too soon. Cliff was a beacon of kindness and compassion in the lives of all who knew him.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1981 to 1985, embodying the values of dedication and sacrifice. After his military service, he continued to serve his community as a valued member of the Bethlehem Central School District from 1988 to 2017, until his retirement.
After his retirement, Cliff spent his summers aiding the Albany community where he enjoyed helping those in need. He not only provided food and essential supplies but also offered friendship and support to those facing difficult times. His selflessness and dedication earned him the respect and admiration of all who knew him.
In the winter months, Cliff embraced his adventurous spirit, traveling to various destinations and exploring the beauty of the world around him. He enjoyed sharing stories of his travels with those close to him, encouraging them to do the same.
Cliff is survived by his daughter Jessica, son Justin, and grandson Ryan. Cliff, also known as Skip, is also survived by his sisters Lisa, Sharon, Becky and Chris, who will carry his memory in their hearts. He was predeceased by his mother, Clare, sister, Debby and father, Clifford Sr.
A celebration of Cliff's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory.
In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks you to simply continue Cliff's legacy of kindness. Lend a helping hand or give to someone in need as he would so willingly do.
Cliff, your light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those you loved and who loved you in return. Catch ya down by the river....
