Charlene L. Breedon, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, gracefully departed this world on November 1, 2025, at her home in Feura Bush, New York. Born on March 12, 1953, in Albany, New York, Charlene touched the lives of many with her warm heart and selfless spirit.
For 54 beautiful years, she shared her life with her devoted husband, Robert Breedon. Together, they nurtured a loving family that included their son, Jeffrey (Renee) Breedon of Charlton, New York, and their daughter, Christine (Christopher) Mullen of Selkirk, New York. Charlene was a proud grandmother to her grandsons, Nathan, Logan, and Hunter, and her granddaughters, Amber and Paige. Her legacy of love continues through them, as they carry forward the joy and warmth she instilled in their lives.
Charlene’s personality was a beacon of light; she was the person who always put everyone else before herself. Her love for cooking and baking was not just a hobby, but a way to show her family how much she cared, making sure that everyone always had their favorites. Her kitchen was often filled with laughter, the aroma of her delicious creations, and the delight of her family gathered around the table.
Those close to her knew about her love for the beach and ocean. Whether it was a stroll along the shore or simply basking in the sun, she found peace and happiness by the water, where the waves mirrored her loving spirit.
Charlene is also survived by her beloved siblings: Marilynn (Chris) Orr of Selkirk, NY, Raymond Lee Jr. of Feura Bush, NY, Michael (Cathy) Lee of Feura Bush, NY, and Mary Lee of Feura Bush, NY. She will be remembered fondly by her sister-in-law Nancy Rhodes of Guilderland, New York, her brother-in-law Rick Lichtenhan of Vancouver, Washington, and her sister-in-law Sally Anderson of Naples, Florida. Charlene was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews, whose lives she enriched with her endless love and kindness.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Raymond and Amelia Lee, and her sister, Catherine Lee, who are lovingly remembered as part of her enduring legacy.
Charlene's family invites all who knew and loved her to celebrate her life at the visitation taking place on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, at Applebee Funeral Home, located at 403 Kenwood Ave, Delmar, New York.
Though she may be gone from our sight, Charlene L. Breedon's spirit will forever be woven into the lives she touched with her kindness and love. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, compassion, and unwavering devotion, reminding us all of the importance of family and the simple joys of life.
