Carol A Card

GLENMONT-Carol A. Card, 73, died Friday, January 2, 2015 at her residence. Carol was born on June 27, 1941 in Gt. Barrington, MA the daughter of the late Edward M.Card and Nellie E. (Westfall) Card. Carol graduated from Roeliff Jansen Central School and attended SUNY Oneonta and Mildred Elley Business School. She was formerly employed by Excelsior College and was an active member of the Glenmont Community Church where she served as Financial Secretary. Carol was deeply involved with her community serving in multiple capacities on the Bethlehem Business Women's Club and the English-Speaking Union. Carol was devoted to her friends and cherished spending time with her family. Kuma, her Papillon dog, and Aspen, her cat, were her loving companions. Survivors include her three sisters , Joan E. Card of San Diego, CA; Linda J. Card of Nanuet, NY; and Terry E. (David) Robinson of Claverack, NY. She is also survived by four nieces and seven great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10am in the Glenmont Community Church. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar on Friday, From 4 to 7pm.
